Sample Galapagos cruise itinerary
Day 1
Mainland Ecuador - Baltra airport - Bartolome Island
Arrive Galapagos, board boat on Baltra, lunch followed by hike to the viewpoint on Bartolome Island. we make a dry landing and walk to the top of the island, and return for a dingy ride around the Tower to observe Galapagos penguins. Optional: time for those who would like to swim and/or snorkel. Overnight sail to Genovesa.

Day 2
Genovesa Island
Morning hike to walk and observe colonies of birds, followed by snorkeling in Darwin's Cove, panga ride we Optional: time for those who would like to swim and/or snorkel. We come aboard for a delicious lunch. Later in the afternoon we take a dingy ride and make a dry landing on Barranco, then walk and observe the interesting lives of the birds here. Dinner on the Yacht, and then our orientation about conservation efforts is made to protect the Islands.

Day 3
Santa Cruz Island: Black Turtle Cove - South Plaza Island
Early morning panga tour of Black Turtle Cove we will spot Green sea turtles, white tipped sharks and various types or rays. Boat sails to Plaza islands, we see giant cactus and land iguanas. Good birdwatching by the cliffs. Snorkeling at South Plaza Island, hike on North Plaza Island. Boat sails to Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island. Ashore after dinner. Overnight in Puerto Ayora.

Day 4
Santa Cruz Island - Highlands - Charles Darwin Research Station
Morning trip to the highlands of Santa Cruz Island to see the giant tortoises in the wild. Afternoon visit to the darwin Research Station, free time in Puerto Ayora. Overnight sail to Floreana Island.

Day 5
Floreana Island
Panga tour followed by hike in Post Office Bay, historic site where you can place your mail and it will be delivered by fellow travellers, give it a try and deliver some to your neighbours. Followed by snorkeling from the beach. Afternoon snorkel at Devil's Crown followed by hike at Puerto Cormorant and take a short walk to the Flamingo Lagoon of this island. We then continue the walk until we reach the beach called "La Picona" to see marine turtles and their spawning grounds. We return to Point Cormorant for a dinghy ride, and snorkeling for those who wish it. Boat moved back to Post Office Bay for dinner. Overnight sail to Espanola Island.

Day 6
Española Island
After breakfast, we make an early wet landing in Gardner Bay for a walk on the beach here. We then take a dingy ride around the islets of Gardner and Tortuga. Optional: time for those who would like to swim and/or snorkel. Return to the Yacht and sail to Punta Suarez; lunch being served as we travel. In the afternoon we make a dry landing and walk along lava beds where we will observe unique colonies of marine birds, including Albatross (May - December). Return to the Yacht for dinner and our nightly orientation.

Day 7
San Cristobal Island: Kicker Rock - Sea Lion Island - Santa Fe Island
Early morning arrival at Kicker Rock - the captain sailed the Seaman through the two rocks THREE times a lot of birdlife can be found - hike on Sea Lion Island in search of frigate bird nesting sites followed by snorkeling from the boat. Boat sailed to Santa Fe Island, we make a wet landing on the Island to visit the cactus forest and a colony of land iguanas native to Santa Fe. Followed by snorkeling from the boat. Overnight sail to North Seymour Island.

Day 8
North Seymour - Baltra - Mainland Ecuador
After breakfast we make a dry landing for a walk along the coast and the interior of North Seymour Island, observing colonies of birds, marine iguanas, and sea lions. Return to the Yacht and sail to Baltra. We receive instructions and enjoy a farewell cocktail and snack before disembarking on the pier at 11:00. Your guide accompanies you on the bus ride directly to the airport.
