Payment Policy

The following is our standard payment process and policies:
30% of total tour value per person at the time of confirming the reservation.
100% of the remaining balance due 60 days before departure.

If you are making a reservation less than 60 days before departure, 100% of total is due upon confirmation of the reservation.

Cancellation Policy

If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your trip, the following fees will apply computed as of the date of receipt of written cancellation notice.

CANCELLATION FEE SCHEDULE:

61 or more days prior to start of tour: Full refund of your deposit less a small administrative fee of 10% of tour price or $100 whichever is greater(this covers bank transactions and financial costs for cancelling your trip).

60-0 days prior to start of tour: Fee is 100% of tour price.

*Time of cancellation will be when notice is received in World Trails office. Cancellation fees apply even if a person transfers to another tour or start date.

Please add a $30 transaction fee for all wire transfers from within the U.S. and Canada, a $60 transaction fee applies for the rest or the World.

World Trails LLC also accepts payments through PayPal, we are a verified member. There is a 3% financial charge for payments with PayPal.

Paypal is rapidly becoming the largest online payment service worldwide. They offer a secure system for credit card payment. You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and non-corporate American Express cards. Paypal keeps your credit card details, not us. Until recently you had to open a Paypal account to make payments, but this is now optional to facilitate payment.

Unfortunately paying by Paypal is sometimes frustrating, due to their stringent security process for accepting credit cards. This process aims to prevent the use of stolen or unauthorized credit or debit cards, but often affects perfectly valid cards. Also payments above a certain amount, which can vary for reasons unknown between cards, may be refused. We suggest you try your transaction again at a later time or try to use a different credit card. Should these and appeals directly to Paypal fail, with apologies for the inconvenience we suggest you use our other payment methods.
