Diving courses
Full certification courses are available while in the Galapagos. Whether you want to begin your first diving experiences in the enchanted islands or are looking to become a divemaster, you can take these courses in the Galapagos: Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, Instructor, and Medic First Aid & CPR.
Dive masters are well trained and knowledgeable about life below and above water.
Their job is to teach about the unique Galapagos environment and to take care of the visitor's safety and enjoyment. They will make diving a complete learning experience.
Here some good guidelines for a diver level:
- Beginners: Newly certified divers or divers with few dives logged (3 to 15 dives).
- Intermediate: 15 to 50 dives logged with experience in cold water and with drift and wall diving.
- Advanced: 100 dives or more logged with experience in cold water and with drift and wall diving.
