M/C Journey I, Galapagos travel luxury class

Galapagos Cruise is proud to present our brand new luxury motor catamaran, the M/C Galapagos Journey I.  The M/C Galapagos Journey I began cruise operations in July 2006 and will provide tourists with the most complete and comfortable way to explore the Galapagos Islands.

M/C Galapagos Journey I Luxury Cruise Boat

On the M/C Journey I you will have the comfort of a stable, spacious, luxurious and fast catamaran built for Galapagos travel.  The M/C Galapagos Journey I offers more comfort than on any other Galapagos boat of its size.  Our yacht visits the most remote and less visited excursion sites in the Galapagos Islands, you will practically have the Islands to yourselves during your 4, 5 or 8-day cruise!

Just picture yourself walking on the Islands and having to make your way around nests carelessly built by blue footed boobies and frigate birds on the trail! Imagine feeling the cool Galapagos waters as you swim with penguins at the Equator and see playful sea lions through your snorkelling mask, manta rays and numerous species of colorful fish.  Enjoy close encounters with armies of marine iguanas, hundreds of seabirds including the waved albatross, flightless cormorants and the magnificent frigatebird, visit "Lonesome George", the most emblematic of Galapagos giant turtles.  It is a once in a lifetime vacation brought to you by the M/C Journey I, its guides and crew... Your are invited to join us!.

Some of our itineraries offer the opportunity to spend the night on Santa Cruz Island at a small boutique hotel in Puerto Ayora.  A great opportunity to experience Island life at its best! You can dine at a small restaurant with the best seafood as you listen to the wind blow away the silence as it carries tropical tunes, walk around this quaint town and shop for souvenirs. The hotel has a pool for you to swim in and relax, location is just a short walk away from the Charles Darwin Research Center and minutes from the highlands of Santa Cruz where you can spot giant tortoises in the wild.

As portraited by famous marine explorer Jacques Cousteau "Galapagos is the last wildlife sanctuary". Animals do not fear humans making it a natural paradise and haven for naturalists escaping a busy and noisy outside world. Board the M/C Journey I for the nature travel experience of a lifetime, the waters are calm and the weather is pleasant (we are at the Equator), the Galapagos Islands travel experience is at the top of the list of every experienced traveller.

Contact a local travel agenct near you. Your agency will help you book your flights, get prepared and will offer additional information on Galapagos and Ecuador. Of course your agent will help you book your space on the M/C Galapagos Journey I.

We look forward to sharing the best of our Galapagos Islands with you!
