Ground transportation on the Islands tours and trips on land include bus transport, bicycle, horseback and trekking.

The majority of the islands are limited to tour groups with a guide. Please follow your guide's instructions about staying on the paths!

There are a few exceptions in Santa Cruz, San Cristobol, Floreana and Isabela. Because these islands have small communities, the traveler has a little more freedom. In Santa Cruz and Isabela, bikes and horses can be rented. In all of the before mentioned islands, there are some hiking trails open to visitors without guides. Again, please stay on the trails and do everything you can to keep the area unharmmed.
