Day 2
Friday Morning:  North Seymour
This is our first "real" in the Galapagos Islands, we will be able to enjoy our first marine life encounters -  Hammerhead Sharks, Manta Rays, White-tipped Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Eagle Rays, Golden Rays, Green Turtles, Sea Lions, Fur Seals

The diving conditions are influenced by moderate to strong sea currents. The bottom is composed of rocks & sand. Normally we dive at 30 ft. - 100 ft.

After enjoying the marine life we will have a short visit to the land site at North Seymour Island. This is an uplifted (as opposed to volcanic) island and so is generally flat and strewn with boulders. There are good nesting sites here for a large population of magnificent frigate birds. Blue-footed boobies perform their courtship dance in the more open areas and swallow-tailed gulls perch on the cliff edges. Despite the tremendous surf that can pound the outer shore, sea lions haul out onto the beach and can be found body surfing.
Friday Afternoon:  North Seymour
We do a second dive in search of more marine life.

Day 6
Tuesday morning:  Cousins Rock
This is an intermediate dive combination of shoal and wall with sea lions, large amounts of fish, white-tipped reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, jacks, eagle and manta rays. There is breathtaking vertical wall with a profusion of black corals and other invertebrates. Currents are moderate and the average dive depth is between 40 ft. - 100 ft.
Tuesday afternoon: Bartolome (land visit)
During the surface interval between Cousins and Bartolome, we snorkel to look for penguins.
Bartolome is famous for its Pinnacle Rock, which is the most representative landmark of the Galapagos. Precariously walking on the rocks at the base of the Pinnacle Rock are Galapagos Penguins, the smallest species of penguin and the only one found north of the Equator.

At the beach on the southern side, across the isthmus of the island, there are sea turtles either nesting, wading in the shallow water near the shore or just resting in the sand, exhausted after swimming a long way to these beaches to lay their eggs. White-tipped Reef Sharks patrol close to shore.

At the other landing, it is possible to climb to the highest point of the island. The site is like a museum of volcanology, an eruption site left untouched after the explosion. If it weren’t for the small lava lizards scurrying around and the pioneer Mollugo plants,  the visitor could be well walking on the surface of the moon.

Day 7
Wednesday Morning: Gordon Rocks and South Plaza land visit
Here you will experience turtles, big fish, hundreds of tropical fishes, hammerhead and Galapagos sharks, large morays, spotted eagle rays, golden and sting rays, as well as fur seals. This is the best one day trip for experienced divers. Not recommended for beginners.

South Plaza island is full of life. There are colonies of sea lions and land iguanas. On the steep banks it is possible to see a great number of birds such as nesting tropic birds and fork-tailed seagulls, but most of all, enjoying the beautiful view from atop the steep banks or strolling along the base of the cliff is an extremely pleasurable experience. The Opuntia cacti grow here too and the vegetation changes color according to the season of the year. Dry landing.
Wednesday afternoon: Charles Darwin Research Station
The most important site on Santa Cruz island is the Charles Darwin Scientific Station. An excellent way to begin learning about the islands and their origin and formation is to visit the Station. You can also see how the Galapagos turtles are raised and meet Jorge, the famous solitary turtle.
